Who We Are?
We are a Bible believing, Faith based church, with Love.
At Capernaum SDA Church, we are a welcoming church family where hope, love, and life are found in Jesus. Whether you are new to church, returning after time away, or simply looking for a place to pray, grow, and belong, we want you to know there is room for you here.
Our worship service is designed to encourage your heart, strengthen your faith, and help you face life with renewed purpose. Each Sabbath, you can expect heartfelt prayer, Bible-based preaching, warm fellowship, and a peaceful atmosphere where you can experience God’s presence and connect with people who care.
Join us every Saturday at 11:00 AM for worship. We also gather for Wednesday Night Prayer Meeting at 7:00 PM via our conference call, where you can receive encouragement, prayer, and spiritual strength during the week.
You do not need to bring anything special with you. Just come as you are. If you have a Bible, you are welcome to bring it, but it is not required. We invite you to bring your family, your questions, your burdens, and your desire for a closer walk with God.
Planning your first visit? Let us know you are coming so we can welcome you personally, answer any questions, and help make your visit comfortable from the moment you arrive.

Our Pastor
Pastor James L. Thomas III, M.Div., serves as pastor of Capernaum Seventh-day Adventist Church. He is passionate about helping people know Jesus, understand the Bible, and discover hope for everyday life. With a heart for families, community, and practical faith, Pastor Thomas desires for every visitor to feel welcomed, encouraged, and reminded that God has a purpose for their life. He believes the church should be a place where people can grow, serve, and prepare for Christ’s soon return.
